Day Course

This course is the ultimate course for those who want to learn the basics of Kitesurfing. After completing the course, you have learned how to prepare the equipment, control the kite and all the necessary saftey information. If you learn quickly, you will get a few attempts on the board at the end of the day.

Time:

The course is divided into two sessions of 2 hours each and is
completed within one day with 4 hours on the water. There is
always a maximum of two students per kite. We reccomend booking a group
lesson, as it is very educational to be able to observe another student
and it is important to have regular short breaks for maximum
concentration.

Cours Structure:

Session 1 (2h): The course begins with us putting on the wetsuits and necessary safety equipment that we will provide. Then we start with some short wind and kite theory before we continue to set up the kite. Before ww go out on the water, we will go through the safety systems. Then the first session ends with us going into the water and practicing to steer and control the kite to get a feel for it.

Session 2 (2h): In the second session, we continue depending on how far we got and how confident you feel with excersises to control the kite. Here we use the power of the kite to do some “bodydrags” where the kite will pull us through the water (without the board), to practice before the board start and gain a good kite control even when the kite is powered upcto be able to hold it stable in different positons. If the student completes all these exercises, he will be able to get som board start attempts at the end of teh day.
